Travistan Annexes Stool at Honolulu Bar
TRAVAMABAD (DPI) - A barstool at a Honolulu tavern has been the subject of
annexation talks among high-ranking leaders of the Nation of Travistan and
bar management, it was reported. The far-leftmost stool at Magoo's Pizza on
University Avenue, long favored by Travistan's Dictator and
President-for-Life as a "rockin" place to watch NBA basketball and enjoy
cheap pitchers, has provided the apartment-nation enough honorary service to
be considered for annexation under Travistan's newly-thought-up Manifest
Destiny proclamation. Under the proclamation, many places that have been
exposed to Travistani cultural influence may be annexed by the ambitious
apartment, including the nation's 3rd floor parking space and the front of
the "order here" line at the Kalakaua Avenue Jack-In-The-Box. According to
reports of the negotiations with Magoo's management, the parties are
deadlocked on the Travistani insistence that the bar be recognized as a
"Travern."
