McDonald's Announces New "Body Part" Game

OAK PARK, ILLINOIS (DPI) - Fast-food giant McDonald's today launched its newest game for customers, "Match the Body Part and WIN." Customers can search their McDonald's food and drinks for animal or human body parts to see if they qualify for a possible prize. "Everyone is eligible, and they can win anything from a free package of fries to a new Microsoft Xbox!" explained Gordon Stewart, Legal Department Vice President for McDonald's. "And we completely deny the charge that this new game is an effort to avoid any kind of lawsuit," Stewart added.

According to the official rules, there are two possible ways to win a prize in the new game. If the customer finds a partial animal or human body part in their McDonald's food or drink package, then the customer must also find the matching body piece(s). "I found a human finger-tip in my Big Mac, and the base of a finger in my shake," said Dallas customer Libby Tonkins, "so if I find the middle portion of the finger I'll win the new Britney CD!"

The second way to win a prize in the new game is to find a whole, intact, human or animal body in a McDonald's product. One of the first of these "Instant Winners" was Paul Williams in Atlanta. "At first I was disgusted to find a whole rat in my McRib, but then I realized I might make a million in court," said Williams. But then the local manager explained to Williams that he was an instant winner and gave him a new Microsoft Xbox. "The manager said that was the second highest prize," recalls Williams, "and that the Grand Prize is an Xbox with 5 free games, but to win that I've got to find a whole human fetus in a sundae."

McDonald's rival Burger King is said to be considering its own new promotional game, "Choke and Win."
