Travistan Short On Cash
TRAVAMABAD (DPI) - The First National Bank of Travistan's Travamabad Branch
announced today that it is fresh out of cash and needs an emergency advance
from the Travistani First Lady. After numerous non-budgeted expenses
including a car wash, a copy of Maxim magazine and an unscheduled stop at
Taco Bell, the central bank needs approximately twenty US dollars to get it
through the rest of the week. The Travistani Rupee, the nation's first
attempt at establishing its own currency, was scrapped due to numerous
rejections by a Waikiki snack vending machine. The newest currency attempt,
the Travistani Dinar, is set to launch as soon as the spray paint is dry.
