Travistani Official Faces Espionage Probe

TRAVAMABAD (DPI) - A key member of the Travistani feline community is under surveillance tonight as members of the apartment-nation's Department of Homeland Security try to determine why the citizen was discovered in a flower bed on the Travistani/Fujitanian border. The official, a 5-year-old tabby employed by the nation's Department of Flying Insect Defense, was seen interacting with a high-ranking member of the Fujitanian Fascist alliance as she watered her geraniums on the balcony. "Until we understand the extent of the interaction between the two parties, we have no case," said a homeland security official who wished not to be named. Until sufficient evidence is obtained, however, the cat is being detained inside the apartment under Travistan's newly thought-up Patriot Act, where the minister of defense is expected to follow him indefinitely, sniffing his rear for any possible evidence of conspiracy.
