NRA's 1st Annual "We Want More Guns" Creativity Festival
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (DPI) - Members of the National Rifle Association would
like to have more guns, so they are sponsoring an art, poetry, literature,
and cinema festival both to celebrate guns and raise money to acquire
additional guns. "Many people think we are unsophisticated, backwater
hicks," said Sophia Lyndstrom of the newly-founded NRA Arts Center, "but we
hope this display will prove otherwise, and we further hope it will qualify
us for some federal financial support of our artists and the guns they
dearly love." The Daily Probe is pleased to present here some of the initial
art and other works to be shown at the festival.
