Not Much Going on in Travistan

TRAVAMABAD (DPI) - Citizens rested peacefully in Travistan this week as things were running "smooth and steady" throughout the apartment-nation, according to a Presidential spokesman. As of 3:45 a.m. Travistandard time Sunday, a hush and a sense of peace was felt over the glimmering VCR nightlight of downtown Travamabad. Citizens were recovering from the chaotic rush of a plumbing mishap last week which caused mass evacuations of the area around the bathroom sink. A city still reeling from severe snack-food drought and lack of labor support for its crumbling laundry infrastructure still managed to rest its weary head before the morning light, when a series of snooze-alarm warnings will wake residents for another day under the warm Travistani sky.
