Nation of Travistan to Send Peacekeeping Troops

TRAVAMABAD (DPI) - Citing current international conditions in west Africa, central Asia, the Middle East and the Korean peninsula, the apartment-nation of Travistan pledged its support to keep the peace at a nearby electronics store during an active sales weekend, its president said. "Due to limited budget and manpower, we regret that we're unable to help with the situation in Liberia," said President Travis, scanning the crowd at a recent CompUSA summer sale event. "So we're doing what we can to promote peace right here on the homefront." President Travis has committed his forces to two solid hours of service, including observation and peacekeeping near the XBox demonstration booth, peacekeeping around the new laptop computers, and various peacekeeping missions around the digital videocamera and PDA departments. The Travistani leader had not ruled out military force if necessary. "These sales events can make people a little crazy," he said.
