Travistan Loves Ken Wong

TRAVAMABAD (DPI) - The president of the apartment-nation of Travistan called an impromptu press conference at 12:37 a.m. today to declare Mr. Ken Wong of Honolulu a "friend of the Nation and all-around cool guy." Speaking from Travistani-held territory at the corner of the card table in Wong's garage, Travis upheld Wong's status as an honorary citizen of the sovereign nation by holding the struggling dignitary in a headlock, tipping over his beer. "Ken Wong has shown his allegiance to our national cuase time and time again by agreeing to host international poker exercises in his airspace and helping me move that couch that one time." Wong himself could not be reached for comment, as he was reported to be "zonked on the couch," as of press time, but he is said to be considering forming his own sovereign house-state, tentatively called "Viet Wong."
