Busy Monkeys Tops Travistan's Bestsellers List
TRAVAMABAD (DPI) - Busy Monkeys, a cardboard book featuring dozens of
happy monkeys of various species, is quickly becoming the most popular and
often-read book in Travistani history. The book's happy theme, funny
primate characters and two-word-per-page format has made the baby-oriented
story an instant classic for nightly prenatal storytime, said President
Travis. "Our in utero community particularly enjoys the part where the
monkey goes "oo-oo-ooh!" said Travis, looking up from his wife's
rapidly-growing belly. "She taps and kicks when I do it like this," he
added, emphasizing the "oo-oo-oohs" in a silly monkey voice. Experts say
they've never heard the self-declared Dictator and President-For-Life use
that voice before. Also popular in the sovereign apartment-nation is *Where
the Sidewalk Ends*, which President Travis imported from Cheapo's Used Books
on University Avenue in order to "spread word about the dangers of
finger-biting snails living in the noses of all Travistani citizens."
