News from Travistan The Probe Reports from the Sovereign Apartment Nation of Travistan Travistani President Accused of High School Mullet TRAVAMABAD (DPI) - The self-appointed dictator and president-for-life of the tiny apartment-nation of Travistan was caught in scandal this week as a newly-surfaced senior-year high school photograph appeared to show him wearing a mullet. The 1989 photograph, which is not being released by the official state news agency Al Traveera for fear of it making the rounds on the Internet, reportedly shows the president with hair down to the lower part of his neck in the back, yet short on the top and sides. An official release from the Office of Travistani Propaganda officially denied the authenticity of the photograph, as well as a series of others from a high school yearbook, calling them "cheap Fascist touch-up jobs." President Travis was said to be searching for later photographs proving the mullet was not present at any point during the 1990s. (Reported by Travis Ruetenik)
